VACANCY POSITION The Centre of Digital Communication (CDC), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Islamabad, is seeking qualified, energetic, experienced, and motivated individuals for appointment against a PSDP Project on a contract basis.
Position: Assistant Director (Network & Security)
Pay Scale: PPS-7
Number of Posts: 01
Qualification, Experience & Eligibility Criteria:
a) 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.
OR
b) 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by PEC.
c) Maximum age limit: 30 years.
d) Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Network Professionals with relevant Security Certifications and experience.
General Terms and Conditions:
All positions are based on merit and will be posted in Islamabad/Lahore.
The initial contract will be one year or until project completion, whichever is earlier.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
The Ministry reserves the right to increase, decrease, or withhold appointments against the advertised positions.
Government employees may apply through the proper channel. However, if selected, they must resign from government service before joining the project post.
Age relaxation shall be provided as per Federal Government rules.
